The Houtong Coal-Mine Ecological Park (猴硐煤礦博物園區) is located in northeastern Taiwan. The mine was once the largest coal mine in Taiwan. The park consists of the ruins of old coal processing plants, plus rehabilitated rivers, along with museums, and exhibits. (thecyclingcanadian.com).
