Taiwanese researchers are part of a global initiative to preserve the world’s biodiversity. The Forestry Bureau and the Academia Sinica Biodiversity Research Center have launched a liquid nitrogen cryopreservation program for wildlife genetic material, nicknamed the “frozen ark project”.
